Thesis Statement: Since the first steel wheels from a roller skate were nailed on to a 2x4, downhill skating has been a part of skateboarding though it has not been documented very well. With improvements in technology and better organization at races and other events, downhill skateboarding is pushing into territories that we didn’t even conceive possible.
